Hi, it’s your future calling, it wants you to Subscribe.

This is a sci-fi reality newsletter where real science meets mission-plausible fiction.

1/2 science IRL + 1/2 science fiction = 100% organic nerdery.

What to Expect

Each post has:

  • A 5-minute-read science article elaborating on a concept that is happening in the current fiction

  • A 5-minute-read science fiction chapter, either from short stories or novel-length stories told in serial form

So, Whodis?

I’m your author, Rachel. I’ll be dredging up 13 years of engineering experience and a lifetime of nerdery for your enjoyment. I’ll bring in real-life stuff from my time as a nuclear field service worker, a flame doctor, and now a sales lady in the space industry.

I’ll use the subscriber chat feature sparingly and for fun stuff like inviting you to vote on topics you’d like covered next or to talk current events going on in science and engineering.

There may or may not be (but definitely will be) entirely too much about Starship.
